For Perfect performance of BK250

From Next Week, I started new 90g tank and BK250

Could you tell me your knowhow for perfect performance of BK250?

I am thinking wet skimming and I think I should consider the control of air

(the red cylinder shape in front of pump?) ,water level in chamber and flow

of outlet valve..(Is it enough what I think?)

Of course I know there are many variable in each tank, but I think the

concensus exists. Please tell me about this..

no air control should be done.
prevent back pressure.
Clean the BK often.
Clean the air tube often.
Clean the pump often.
Place Bk on the 1st part of the sump.

Some other extra...
Hug it to sleep.
Love it more then your wife or your car.
Dream of it.

Kim if you want to break it in quickly, remove the top, sit on the cup and read a newspaper while nature takes its course. Just don't use too much toilet paper because it creates backpressure

I have an ext so I can't help. But I will tell you its the best skimmer I have ever seen or used. Just prepare for a pretty pugnent smell when you clean it!
