    VS3-48 with 4MDQX-SC pump is the model i have on hold for me from a friend 2 months of use he wants 300 is it worth it ? it gonna be on a 180g

    for 180 g tank u need a GOOD!!!! skimmer...dont wast money get top notch,like deltec or b-k)
    i use to have mrc-2 with dual enjectors and i think its a great skimmer for the money...
    thats imo...

      lifereef stuff is very expensive. The craftmanship is really, really impressive, but the skimmers themselves are fairly simple designs. standard venturi skimmers. Do they work? sure. Are they the best bang for the buck? No, IMO. That being said, people who have lifereef stuff generally sing the praises of the equipment.

        so i shouldnt get it then huh.......... i have a MTR 250 sitting here that should do good for it i heard alot of good things about the lifereef so i thought it was ag8 buy nut seems like its not

          I used to have lifereef. I agree w/ MUSHER. Good craftmanship, but over priced IMO.
