  • New Korallenzucht ZeoVit filter

There is a new zeovit filter available from Korallenzucht:

The filter comes complete with a 1000 liter pump and a valve to adjust the water flow through the reactor. It can be used to run up to 3 liters zeovit.

It is a similar design like the Grotech filter. The riddled plate which holds the zeolite fixes in the main tube, is fitted without a lot of tolerances to prevent smaller zeovit stones between the tube and the plate.

The pump is connected with a special rubber part and can be removed easy.

Its only available as a insump version.

Good news, Alexander, as I hope it's priced less than the GroTechBob

For sure Bob, the online shop says EUR 129,00 which is about USD 155.00 so this is a big difference.

Thnx. Alexander, that will enable many to begin the system as it's priced very reasonable. Will the Zeo-dealers here have them in inventory? Bob

Are there any holes at the edge of the bottom plate?

Steve, not 100 % sure I have seen the reactor only one time. I try to post some detail pictures in the next days.

Wow, very nice, does it by any chance have a internal chamber like Madison's design?

Christiaan, the reactor has not a internal second chamber as Madisons. It is a similar construction like the Grotechs.

Thanks Alexander. I see the bottom plate was made for this without those 1/2 holes at the edge of the cylinder. I nice improvement over the Grotech for sure. I've struggled with small stones stuck in those holes since day one.
