Tunze CA Rxtr "Automat"
Does anyone have any info on this Ca Rxtr? Trying to figure out the design and does it rotate off its base?

Those reactors are the new version and have not hit the US market yet. I have them on order, so I should receive som of the first that hits the country. They also make a second chamber for them that is interesting.
Also Tunze has it's new website up if you have not seen it yet.Brian -
Here is a pic of how it is plumbed. The pump is able to be removed and replaced.

AHhh! I saw the website, but couldnt find the Ca Rxtr. To me it takes away from the reactor looks. And you know how it is with all us equipment freaks.. we like to see the guts and how its built inside.

The reactor can be run out of the housing if you keep the intake from getting debris in it. It is designed to be used in tank, or in sump. It matches up perfectly with the rest of the Comline products. ReefPack, Bio-reactor, etc. As soon as they come in, I will post some additional pictures for you. They are set up very similar to the H&S reactors also. If you feed the water into the pump intake, it should be not problem to modify one to run externally.

Here is a picture of the ReefPack500 with the Calcium RX. It can be slid into the side of the Reefpack and made a solid unit.
The RX can also be set up in a sump.
