my zeo-friends,i got a new ca reactor today from premium..
jeatstream-1..what a nice piece of equipment.very well made...i love it..
didnt set it up yet,but planning on this weekend.i also got a shuran media...
looks clean,no dust at all.
anybody who looking for a new ca reacor,should look in to this piece..

i will keep u all post it..i hope is will keep kh around 8....))

I'm looking into a new CR too.. but I will have problem looking for big media for schuran reactor...

So I guess I have to look for deltec PF600 instead.

You know, the shuran media is relatively big granulate than ARM media.

How can I use MG granualte in reactor, if I wanna use it?

Should I make second chamber and let the water put in it?

I think you will really like the Schuran reactor. I have been using one for about 4mo. and it has been the best reactor I have ever owned. i run mine w/ a timer and a solenoid valve and a Eheim compact pump to feed the water. If you have any ?'s on set-up feel free to ask I believe there is a few of us here using them. Also the thread on RC by Ewan has some great pictures to help w set-up as well as great info.

7th heaven, There may be a mg granulate that might work w/ these reactors. The key is to get something w/ the large media size. In the instructions Schuran recommends a larger sized media as the smaller size will not allow the co2 to recirc. Hope that is of some help.

I have had mine for well over 6 months and LOVE it.. Sold my Deltec for it, blows the Deltec out of the WATER!!!!

I am going to use MG Granualte, not sure how yet, i am thinking a small sock on top of the duck poop looking media. I think that will work, I will get one that is not so fine, a little larger sock.. Ill let you know how it goes.

That is if you want to completely drain the unit, you use that one, and all the water will come out.
