  • Jam Free Zeovit Reactor....

    Hi,

I manage to get the latest design from my local DIY (http://www.iaquatic.com/)
And I proud and happy to say finally a new zeovit reactor design that you will never have a hard time shaking it or plumping it....

    It's stuck free....

Allthe reactor that i have use before give me a hard time whenever I want to pump my zeolite. Cause I will always face the problem of plumping half way and I got stuck by the rock and I have such a hard time trying to unlose the rock and allow me to continue plumping.

The always get stuck issue has make me lose interest in plumping the rock and time and time I almost want to give up due to the plumping and get stuck issue.

With Ian new stuck free zeovit reactor, it totally solve everyone issue and not to mention the workmanship is great...

Every part of the reactor can be unscrew and remove for maintenance.

What so exciting, with this new reactor swing and plumping the zeolite is not longer a headache.

The reactor can be fix either in-sump or out-sump. And it can hold up to Max 2litre of zeolite.

But I personal feel that best to fill up max 1.5litre of zeolite as there will be more space allowance for the rock to fly about and thus able to shake them well.

Look at how it's like when the internal cylinder go into the whole reactor..

The top T-pipe which can also be unscrew for removing the whole internal cylinder..

Awesome reactor. The non stick is very cool.

yes.. I totally agree... and it does not affect the plumping of the zeolite...

and I personal find it.. you can forget about plumping the zeolite.. just shake it left and right for a few time and you can see the release of mulm even from the output of the reactor and very soon you can see your whole tank become cloudy due to the mulm...

                  That's a pretty good idea.

I think you can probably also avoid jams by getting rid of the smaller zeovit rocks but that's a PITA.

well I think the smallest zeovit rocks are even not an issue.. can I still pour them in and I never even feel any slight jam...

It's important to remember the smallest zeolites perform a specific absorptive function seperate from the other sizes of zeolites, therefore, these are needed in the mix Bob

yup that's why I always pour all sizes of the zeolite in...

We've been using this style (not brand) reactor for a while. You will love it. Not only is it easier to stir the zeolite, it stirs them better.

I don't take them out either but the tiniest stones sometimes get stuck between the perforated plate and the reactor wall causing a jam.... very annoying.
