About shuran pico CA reactor

Hi~ all~~

I know oversize skimmer is better..How about Ca reactor? Is it same?

Shuran Pico Ca reactor covers 500~600liter and it is one step lower level of
jetstream1..

I have plan to buy shuran reactor and not decide yet which is the better.

and I have plan to make new 125gallon(500~600liter) SPS tank.

Bigger is better? or it is OK to buy pico?

Hi Vince, either choice is good If there is ever an larger reef down the line, I'd opt for the larger CR & just run it slow or part time. Bob

Hi Vince, getting a calcium reactor that is larger than your system can handle adds no benefit.

If you are planning to get a bigger tank in the near future then it's OK to get a larger CA reactor and run it at very low capacity, but if not then save your money and get the Pico.
