Anyone preordering the Vortech pumps?

I'm not sure what would be the advantage of these pumps over the Tunzes. They look cool and stuff but.. to me the main drawback is that they must be placed flat against the glass so you can't have flow that is not perpendicular (or parallel depending from where you look ) to the tank.

Also you can't easily hide them within the rockwork, unlike the tunzes, unless you lean the rocks against the glass.

Not me. I've already got streams laying around. I got no reason to add vortechs. Albeit I think they do look cool. Potentially even less heat than a stream. They look like a good idea, but....

I might buy some when they come out and prove to work well but definitely not pre-ordering.

The great advantage is less ugly electrical cables running through your tank... I currently have six streams in my tank and adding two more... wouldn't mind replacing some of them with the Vortech's.

the vortec tip will apparently be adjustable so while it's limited you will be able to "angle" the flow. So they say anyways.
