  • Nothing really to do with reefing, but I need plumbing help

This is actually for my freshwater system. I need to separate a smaller fish because the larger ones are picking on it. I have a spare 75 gallon tank, but it is glass with no drilled holes or overflow.

I want to tie this 75 gallon tank to my 300 acrylic tank just for the ease of water changes, etc. How would you guys recommend that I plumb these two tanks together? The tanks are in my garage so I can make the 75 gallon as high or low as I need to relative to my large tank.

    Thanks.

What about a CPR overflow box? That way you can feed the small one with a pump and just let it overflow back into your main...http://www.cpraquatic.com/products/overflows.html
Actually, I think I may have a used one at the warehouse I could give you a deal on....
