Titanium hose clamps are on the way (Thanks SteveU) I also need a hose barb or two to finish the drain manifold to feed the skimmer and whatnot:

Chuck, do you need certification in order to operate all those valves? looks like controls for a WWII style submarine

That stand is just primo (along with everything else).

        Gravity feeding the BK?

You gonna FW test it first? Or baptism by fire?

Load with RO/DI water....if nothing is wrong, then dump in the salt. If something is wrong...drain.

            CHuck,

I notice you have 90's on the outlets into the sump. Is this a new way to reduce microbubbles?

Also what tyoe of valves are those and where di you get yours.

Nice looking set up so far!

Looks great Chuck. How are you feeding the BK? Is that a gravity feed?

skippy--those are drain durso's--reduces noise, not so much effect on bubbles really. The valves are george fischers. Savko.com

Heinz--LAIIIs. It's just the easiest thing.

                  Madison--yeah, gravity feed.

                      Chuck its about time! haha

hey could you explain how those drain dursos decrease noise? i might try them out on my setup and see if it makes any difference.

i am guessing that they will take the burping or gurgling out?

                      thanks.

intresting, does any water come out of them at all? or is it just the air?

are you going to put some PVC on the ends of those tees to submerge them more into the water? or are they going to just be slightly submerged?

                          thanks

Those Tees will be half submerged. The Ts burp air and water. If you're super anal you can add pipe to the elbow so only air comes out, but I don't personally stress it all that much. Stuffs not even glued. I stop gluing once the pipe is over the sump.
