  • Baffleless Sump Idea

I really love this sump idea. Notice there are no baffles. All water gets filtered through the first cube compartment which then has a foam over the overflow tube. The water then drains down to the bottom compartment which gets cleaned out again and then sucked out by the return pump.

The only thing I dont like is the idea of the tube at the bottom and not being able to get to it for maintenance. What if you had a lot of "junk" down there and needed to clean out the holes from the PVC? The only way is to remove the entire SUMP and wash it out.

I think a good way around this is to have a seperate hole for a pump to blow all the detritus out.. and especially with a drain valve?

I was thinking why instead of making it at the bottom and not put it as those normal left or right side standing...

so u got nothing blocking anything..
