    hmmm... looks a little more sophisticated than what we have been seeing lately.

    "The mechanical level control is a compact unit used to automatically refill aquariums or filter systems after loss of water due to evaporation."

    How does that work? Is there a high and a low level(fail safes).

        Here's what Aqua Medic told me about this unit:

        "The top of pump is a dosing pump with a single electronic float switch.
        The unit uses 6mm tubing to draw the water from a reservoir and
        delivers the water to your tank. The unit operates on 4.5 watts
        @120/115v for US electricity. The suggested retail for this item is
        $130.00."

        That sounds pretty cool. I don't know that it's any different than any other dosing pump/float switch set up though.
