  • Could you tell me pros and cons about cube tank.

    Hi~

Could you tell me pro and con of cube tank?
I am thinking of cube tank. the size wil be 1m X 1m X 50cm (LxWxH).
    (3.3feet X 3.3feet X 1.7feet) the length will be a little longer
    (i.e 1.1m maybe...)

I have never experience of cube tank. so I wanna know your opinion.

    My tank is 150cm x 100cm x 100cm

The pros are that they look very natural and the greater front to back depth allows for more interesting aquascaping. Chaotic water movement is also easier.

The cons... I haven't found one yet

I posted a pic in this thread:

          http://www.zeovit.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1373

It's empty because it's only a week old, plus there's some ugly brown algae.... but one fine day many many years from now it will be a nice tank

Nick - same here. My current tank is 4' x 2.5', and just that little bit of extra depth is great for aquascaping. My dream tank is a 4'x4' viewable from all 4 sides with a center overflow.

Get as much depth as possible, mine is 3.3' and it still isn't enough, next tank I'm doing 5'.

My dream size for now is 10' x 5' x 3.3' but I'd have to move to a different house first
