Silicone?

Hey guys,

I am wondering if i can use 100% silicone from the hardware store instead of the expensive stuff you can get at the LFS?

i mean if you guys think it's better to get the LFS stuff i will, but just wondering if 100% silicone from the hardware is just as good.

i think you can find "aquarium silicone" at the hardware store. i dont know how much it is compared to other stuff, but its what i use.

edit: the stuff i use is made by "DAP"...is that what they sell at your LFS?
