  • Question about CO2 regulator

    Hi All~

I use Harris dual gauged regulator with 2.2l co2 tank.

and you know there are two gauge in dual regulator and I wanna know the
right(proper) value of them..especially the left one value
    (connect to CA reactor...second gauge(?))

    Thanks..

The left one on my M3 set-up is tank pressure, mine 1000-1100 psi when full. Right side is line pressure (bubble count). Mine is set at 52 psi and runs at about 90 bpm. HTH

265 gallon SPS tank. Bubble King 300 Internal, MRC CR-6 Calc Reactor. 3 400 watt 20k Helios. 90 gallon Frag tank plumbed into main display.

Is it recommanded value in low pressure?

I'm sorry I'm afraid I don't understand your last post 7th heaven. I'll try and explain a little further . The high pressure gauge is the gauge that shows internal pressure of bottle. The low pressure gauge shows the line pressure being supplied to the reactor. It's been a little while since I have looked at my reactor manual but I would think your reactors owners manual would maybe have a recommended supply line pressure. HTH

The Korallin reactor recommends about 15 psi IIRC. My bubble count doesn't stay consistant at that low of a pressure. I use line pressure to adjust bubble rate. I just get the needle valve close to the right bubble count, then fine tune with pressure. Not the most common way, but it works for me.
