What do you guys think? I'm not enough tech savvy to know if this would work with other units or not.
    10x3x2 FOWLR (for now)
    BK400ext
RD12 return, 2 RD12 closed loop, wavebox with extension
    MRC kalkmixer
    IKS

I dont see why not. Just make sure it has a serial port connection on the other units for the Lantronix Wireless device to connect into. If you already connect to a computer by serial through a controller, then this should work the same way. Just make sure your laptop support 802.11b and most in todays world do.

Much better, now I can VPN into my home, get on my network via my server and play with my controller from work.. My god if I keep finding cool stuff like this, I may never actually get any work done!

Well good thing he let me cancel it..

Here is the email back from aquatronica.

                        Dear Mr. W,
for the moment it is not possible to use this COM port. We are
currently developing a wireless module that will eliminate the need for a
second computer and will wirelessly connect the Controller to a single
computer via internet. The module should be available in May 2006.

                        Best Regards
                        Aquatronica

Has anyone tried this wireless device around other wireless networks?

For example I know you can have interference if you have 2 different types of wireless signals broadcasting over each other (i.e. Wireless telephone vs. Wireless PC networks). I've seen wireless G networks blanket a wireless A and cause potential problems. Anyone know if there's any potential problems with these?

I have an 11G in my house, and use nothing but a cell phone for phone service (that's right no land line ) and haven't had a single problem. I also know that some of my neighbors are running their own wireless networks, and again no problems here...
