Future plan about lighting. I wanna know your opinion

Hi~ Zeovit family~
I plan to make new SPS tank.
it will be about 100gallon tank. I am not sure the tank SPEC,
but I am thinking .....

3.5~4feet length(100~120cm),
2.5feet width(75~80cm),
and 1.8feet depth(50cm)


I can not decide what is the best choice. so I wanna know your opinion.

I am thinking of

2 AC14K 250watt DE with PFO mini pendant (both side)
1 BLV 10K 250watt DE with PFO mini pendant(center)
2 VHO actinic3 (URI) with icecap430

How about that? Is it not bad?

Could you tell me about your opinion?

i would go with tthe phoniex 14k DE instead of the AC there the same EXACT bulb same maker and there ALOT cheaper

which is the best?
1. BLV+VHO
2. Phoniex+VHO
3. Only Phoniex
4. Only BLV
5. Phoniex +BLV

I do not know adding VHO is a good choice. To install VHO, I should buy all equipment
about VHO (bulb,ballast) and consider the insatallation of mini pendant with VHO together. ie. I think Canopy for VHO and mini pendant should be necessary.

i know they make DE pendent w/ VHO installed i havent been able to hook mine up yet but they look awesome when hooked up

Just go with the Phoenix, no supplemental lighting.

I've come to like the AC/Pheonix on the M80 with a bit of actinic... But then I've always liked things colorful and a bit purple—not for everyone.

Vince, I like your idea of;

The BLV's compliment the AC/Pheonix's very well. But it would also look great with all AC/Pheonix with VHO's... Personally that is what I would do—AC/Pheonix with URI Super Actinics...

But if you want to save $$$, Moonpod's right, the AC/Pheonix really need no supplementation for excellent color and slight actinic effect.
