Anyone have an opinion on the accuracy of his tests?
Here's why. I recently switched from the Giesemann 250W Megachrome 13k to the new Phoenix 14k. I did this based on Sanjay's tests showing the PPFD for the Phoenix was 14% higher than the Megachrome. Phoenix PPFD = 73, Megachrome PPFD = 63. But man, this new Phoenix bulb is very blue compared to the Megachrome. Can it be possible to have more blue but gain PPFD?
I like the look of the Phoenix but am concerned I sacrificed intensity. The Megachrome was a bright white with a touch of white.
