Well, the title says it all.

Which do you prefer for overall look and assistance in coloration with SPS?

T5 Blue Plus or VHO Super Actinic

They are different and I think "better" is subjective. The blue plus gives a more black light type affect and makes contrast stand out more. The actinic causes fluorescence. URI T5 actinics are due out in 2 mos apparently.

You may want to ask the question T5 Helios SuperBlue or VHO SuperActinic. Supposedly the helios bulb is pretty awesome, most people just dont know about them or where to get them. Fortunatly I do :P. I could tell you but then I would have to kill you . Actually I just dont remember it, its saved on my work computer. I will be trying a couple of them in my next set of bulbs for sure. I hear they flouresce better than the B+
