Im a little confused

I was trying to find out the diffrent PAR readings using my ballast on Sanjays site BUT I use PFO ballasts and he doesnt have PFO as a selection. Am I missing something ?

Nick its prob standard M59 magnetic.. There really is not a lot of variation with them.. They do list PFO HQI though if oyu have that...

no i dont I got these in Jan there 400Wers all it says on the ballast itself is PFO

so then XM 20k has the 5th best PAR reading off these bulbs that means ?

Yea Nick that why I sold my CV eballast and went M59 SLS.. I am going to try out the BLV 14k though.. the pics I have seen make me really want too.. Also if you notice the reeflux has a terrible par with the m59.. I think the par rating is subjective though.. If I am getting the colors I want and the growth the par numbers mean nothing, especially running 400 watters on a 24" deep tank... If I do find a sweet 10k or the blv 14k has good numbers at 250 after Sanjay tests I have thought about down grading to save on the power bill. I will say though most 250 HQI DE I have seen are dim compared too the 400 SE's...

I agree I have seen the same thing I am happy still with my reeflux bulbs I have the 20k XM in the middle still though where most of the sps are
