    Just for yucks, I fired up one of these over my empty tank. Surprisingly pure white given that I think the CCT is like 8500. On an IC ballast. Course the tank IS empty. FWIW, This is what Sanjay is using (I think on standard ballasts those)

    RD12 return, 2 RD12 closed loop, wavebox with extension
