  • $ not an issue, which brand to buy?

If money was not an issue, which brand of light pendant would you choose for your aquarium? Sfiligoi, Aqua Connect, Aradia, Aqua Medic, Gieseman, ATI, Japans Supercools, Icecap, PFO, Other, or custom built to your specs by yourself? This could be for your existing aquarium or for your dream aquarium. Im trying to get some ideas and options.

are you talking about DE? can you even get those euro brands in the US?

for DE, the ROIII is supposed to be the best, but thats only for the US brands.

Those ATI T5 fixtures look like the bomb for T5. What I've seen of the MH looks...shady.

Money no object, what I would like is a Sfigoli using ROIII reflectors for the DE and Lumenarcs for the 400w. That dimming ballast is REALLY cool. You gotta see it to believe it. Lots of programming options as well. But the reflectors it comes with...I dunno.
                10x3x2 FOWLR (for now)
                BK400ext
RD12 return, 2 RD12 closed loop, wavebox with extension
                MRC kalkmixer
                IKS

Quality Marine, one of the wholesalers here. The Sfigoli dude was there for like a week showing the stuff off. The catch is that it's like 800bux WHOLESALE for the 250w ballast....

I would go for the geiseman. It comes with a gigital controller and there is cloud simulation! Way cool.

                            Edward,
I would imagine the aqua-connects would be nice, never heard of them being sold in US. I have heard rumor German ballasts don't hold well to US electrical. Although many raive about their Giesmanne fixtures. I would'nt think so many people could be wrong about such a company w/ such high standards. So Giesemanne would be a consideration. For myself I am really diggin the Zeo dist. Photon line of fixtures. SE MH w/T-5 :biggthump . Fixture looks very wide front to back for good coverage and IMO the SE bulbs produce a more fully lit tank (less shadows IMO). This may look like shameless plug for photon but I have been looking into fixtures and I think I will go w/ it.

This is the first I have heard of these. Where can I find more info on their product and purchasing info?
