    which is better?

    36" Maristar: 2-250W MH & 2-39W T5 HO by sunlight supply

    Aqua Medic Ocean Light T5/MH Combo Series, 36in 2 x 250W MH + 2 x 39W T5 - Black

not sure but I think Aqua Medic is cheaper than Maristar

    or anything else?

    thanks..

In terms of reflector performance, the Maristar.

The Aquamedic is cheaper. There are complaints bout the ballasts on the Aquamedic buzzing a lot and needing to be replaced, but AM does step up to the plate apparently.

The above judgement being given, the AM is "enough" light.

I believe AM is using a different ballast for the European/Asian market vs. the US. What power requirements do you have in Korea?

        MH DE and T5 fixture

        Hi,
I have the AM version. I love it! The ballast problem is the fan that was put in in China. They went with a cheaper version, even though the design called for a specific model. Am will replace it pronto, if it starts buzzing.

What about the AquaSunlight NG. I have seen this fixture in action and I really like the big reflectors:

The AquaSunlight NG is the newest model in the row – also available with electronic and magnetic ballast. The fixture was introduced last year in May at the Interzoo fair.

I second Alexander's suggestion. I saw the AquaSunlight New Generation with an electronic ballast and was very impressed by the intensity of the light. It was a 250 with E-ballast that looked as bright (if not brighter) than the 400 next to it. I don't think they are available in the US because of the ballast difference, but that shouldn't be an issue for you.

What do you think better between DE+T5 fixture and SE+T5fixture

There is a Good DIYer in my country and his work

and It is cheaper than DE+T5 fixture (about 160$)

and I am not sure just two T5 can do supplyment of 10K bulb..Still Yellow..??

Vince, a DE bulb is much more intense than a SE bulb.
