New Reeflux bulbs 10k.. by Sanjay Joshi

Not sure how else to do this so I did screen shots. I sell coralvue so Dave sent me this a few days ago. He sent Sanjay some bulbs to test to prove or disprove all the claims that his bulbs rock or suck. I use them and love them. His new Reeflux is killer to say the least. Here is the analysis.

I think that they are so new that very few people have actually seen them. I assume Coralvue allowed Sanjay to perform the testing prior to the lamps manufacture and launch.

Nick, another concern with CoralVue is whether there is spectrum shifts, as well as longevity issues. Bob

Scott, what is the color like? Crisp white? A little blue?

I just fired up one of these new lamps yesterday. I rigged it up to a Coralvue ballast and spiderlight reflector, unfortunately I no longer have a tank with anything in it. But the results were very pleasing. Certainly looks "whiter" than another 10k. I sold the limited stocks that I received already, so there will be some users in the UK pretty soon!

I appreciate that the description wont sell millions, but hopefully we can get some feedback from reef tank owners soon.

I have been using CV eballast for a yr now and even up to now.. and when I try switch my old bulb to CV 10kk... the PAR output is gd.. but problem is that the high UV output burn alot of my sps...

Which after running it for 4 months I give up cause none of my sps can recover and they go to the state of become so worst that some of then rtn...

In the end I switch back to BLV and everything back to normal.. and not long ago I switch to saki 6.5kk and there is nothing I can say.. it's totally perfect...(if you dont mind the yellowish)

None taken bro, I agree with you 100% his old bulbs SUCK, even the ones he is still selling, the CV brand are not good bulbs. The new Reeflux are GREAT bulbs IMO. I have never seen a 10k bulb that looks half this good, esp the price.

That is the one thing I hate about saki's bulbs, you have to add 92359835932495897 watts of vho to make the tank not look like piss, I wont knock the growth i got with them, but couldnt stand looking at a tank of piss.
